Choco, Seals, and Goobbues

With Goobbues all you need to do is talk to an NPC at lv30+

With Chocos you need to be lv25(?)+ and be part of a GC, and pay 3k seals.

Understand goobbues are limited time item, but if reading the patch note right, can get them up to Ver 2.

With Goobbues free for most part dosnt that make getting a chocobo no worth it , outside of getting gear for chocobos, which im sure will costs a lot of seal in the 1st place.

I am hoping to get the armor for chocobos is just a quest. Ranking up is already a hassle if you have no seals to begin with. I don't want to waste seals on a chocobo.

It's a nice way to get a mount if you can't get the seals to get your own chocobo, or solo players.

Actually getting the seals for a chocobo isn't too hard if you're a new player. All the quests you have to do to join a company give you more than enough to buy the license. It was players that were already playing and used up their seals already that had to grind them. Regardless, I'm hoping the hamlet defense is some nice party/large group method of getting seals for these and current/future GC items.

As to the OP's concern, Chocobos are going to be customizable battle companions, as was mentioned, so they will eventually have a much larger role in our adventures.

I do think that the devs clearly stated in some interview or letter that they don't want to let Gobbues do that.
Of course I am far too lazy to look for a link so I do not ask you to believe me

ya if you care more about really something belong to you, I think chocobo is worth it.
but if you just want soemthing move faster then running, I think get goobbue first, then worried about choco later.
I actually have lots seals don't know what to buy. good thing they newly added the crafter gears.
