Sharing input isn't unwelcome. You offered to share info and it was declined (politely or not isn't really the issue here) and frankly should have just left well enough alone. I am fairly confident that had you left without that comment about being in MMOs since 2004 etc, you wouldn't have received the tells (which again, were also wrong in my opinion). Of course, you can always say in future "I've done this before and cleared, would anyone like some pointers?" and if the answer is no (regardless of politeness from the party), I would say okay and leave it at that. You offered, it was declined, no need to push the issue.

The rest of your posts here though definitely strike me as coming from someone who can't really put themselves in another's shoes. From comments about disagreeing with Rokke's comment about people not wanting fights explained the day after patch, to arguing with winsock's opinion that offering information about mechanics causing a wipe (again a day after patch!) is akin to someone standing over your shoulder telling you the answers to a crossword puzzle. Even just giving ONE answer to a puzzle you're enjoying figuring out could spoil the whole thing and cause a domino effect of solving it all in one go.

Again though, offering help is not what I think the issue here was, it was the comment made before leaving. Definitely continue to offer help as you will for sure meet groups who will want it, just try to understand that not everyone does.

Also, please understand: The other person was 100% in the wrong for those tells as well. Absolutely absurd and rude. Two wrongs don't make a right.
