Can we maybe slow the power creep down a bit

The jumps between levels are getting bigger and bigger all the time. And it's going to make alt classes miles behind mains or such.

The difference between a 370 tome weapon and a 360 one is +2 damage. Instead of the usual +1.

And the stat jumps are slowly increasing as well. Getting to a point where a 360 alt job is going to be miles behind a 370 main one.

In terms of weapons damage the i370 weapons are effectively i390

Considering too a lot of people aren't able to get the weapon that close in ilvl, it will be worse than you think. Many will be 350 or even 340 on alts.

I agree with all this, and it's not even about alts..it's about keeping content fun. If ilevels increase too much past content loses the little bit of challenge/fun it had too fast.

A lot of content suffers from that actually. And sometimes even the new content. We ran Fractal HM for the first time with my friends and the DPS was so high that we didn't even get to see Zurvan's moves from the boss. Many fights have fun "final phases" that get skipped because we overgear it. On the other hand, it's kind of a reward to do so: Not only because you got gear but also because you got better at your job. It does make the content less fun, though.

No even better you can buy 330 gear with creation. It replaced Verity gear. Only a few runs and you can get 300 prices from the dungeon and 330 from tomes.

I noticed this last night too in Sigma normal. Even though we had no clue what we were doing we easily brute forced out way through due to high level grear. Only suffered from one wipe doing O5-7 in DF.
