    The housing NPCs tend to do their animation as soon as you set them down, so you might have missed it, then they won't do it again unless you run pretty far from them and walk back up again

    Ah that actually works out well for me. I wanted a couple of matching snake lady guards for my throne room, but didn't want to have two NPCs doing the same job to get a matching look.
