    Question: Ananta House Vendor

    Hi guys =)
So my FC wants to have an ananta vendor in our house and I've been delegated the task of doing so I mean, I was kinda hoping that we'd get one anyways XD However, I don't know how to do this ^^"
We've got a mender, melder, dye vendor and low lvl crafting mat vendor already. Can someone let me know how I can switch one of these out for an ananta (I assume 4 is the max for a medium house).

    Thank you o/

medium house can now have 8 NPCs.

I'm assuming you can buy the Ananta vendors from the beast tribe as a reward eventually. Someone please correct me if im wrong, not 100% sure on this.

I'll try to avoid it in the future Also, had a quick look on the patch notes and it says medium houses have gone from 4 to 8 NPCs now (as per what youkulm said ^^)

So these vendors are items? Or is it like how the mounts an minions work, where you get an item and then you unlock the actual thing?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just found the vendor bit in the patch notes and it said that they're items. Must not have read it properly the first time. Where do they usually sell these permits so I can have a quick look when I log in tonight =)

You receive a item (such as Material Supplier Permit A-2), and you then treat that as like any other housing item. Go to housing, indoor furnishings (have to be inside the house for it). Then use the permit. Permits are bought with gil (there's also an outdoor expansion of duties permit available for retainers). You then select a race and gender, and then plonk it down (but it may be you plonk it down first then decide race/gender, I don't quite remember)

As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

Thanks for the help guys! =D When you know that you're looking for an item, it's a lot easier to find ^^ Just to confirm as well that it is an ananta beast tribe item.

Thanks again for your help everyone and I'll remember to look this thread up when I get the item and need to use it ^^

The Ananta house vendors are unlocked by doing the beast tribe quests, not sure what you rank you have to achieve with them though.

You buy it as an item, a 'permit', from a vendor. Then you place it in your house, that's it, job done .

According to the Eorzea Database the cost of a Ananta mender is one Dreamstaff - so agreed you have to get the mender permit from the Ananta.

As far as Ananta quests go - I'm at level 5. "respected" - and no vendors yet.
but that is when you get the Charmed emote

if you started right after patch dropped and before daily reset tomorrow (Feb 8) you should reach Rank 6 Honored. Perhaps will be available then.
