The stats are extremely important. What parts are you currently using to try for the ore?

I believe it was 130-ish surveillance or a bit below that which was the absolute minimum for getting the ore and you'll have to go higher if you're after any of the rarer items. I would adjust 1, 3 & 4 while leaving 2 in the meantime to farm for rarer items.

i got about 9-10 otters before 5.0 and it's been a month almost since 5.0 launched. zero otters. they must have dialed back the drop rate or something.

Same on my end. Zero otters since 5.0 with 8 submarines running a 3 day trip nonstop.

Edit: We might need to try out different fits again to see if the minimum Surveillance for the Abroader Otter changed. If anyone has found the Otter since 5.0, please post an image and the fit in the thread.

I've got 2 otters since 5.0 release. One right in the early access and the second one just now(after 1 month basically sending 4 submarines with CUUC build only to DSS7 every single day).

Alright, that's a good starting point. Might have to play with a couple of our old fits to see if that Surveillance stat can go any lower. If anyone else has confirmed reports, please keep them coming!

I just brought back my 3rd otter since the expansion came out, CCShSy build. One or both of the others might have come from my CUSyC
