I was actually mistaken. The sub had 155 Surv, 140 favor. Three of my subs have 155, one has 150 Surv. Guess I've just been really unlucky or the requirement for the Coinage is even higher. I wonder if it is, just based on the fact that I never ever even see the Coinage on sale on my server.

I've gotten the coins with 150 Surv. but they are hands down the rarest item you can obtain from submarines. I'm not sure if it's because the loot table for that zone is so large or what but the drop rate is LOW. Probably 1% chance per trip or less. XD

I expect as AuricSeaguard mentioned not a lot of people are farming for it either. Even Balmung has only seen about 10 listings on the MB so far.

135 won't cover all the rare items. Thus far 155+ seems to be the goal for all the rare items. You'll want to boost the favor up as best you can on top of that while leaving yourself enough range to cover requirements. I believe 64 range is the farthest needed to hit just stone temple, but double check on your own in case I missed something.

Thanks, ill build the remaining ships with a focus on those, the 155 survey, and the range.
I rebuilt my first ship, well changed one component, so i could get more kamacite and both sectors that have it will take one week to get back, i guess not bad considering each ship takes like 50 days or something to level.
Itll be a month before i can even get any of the end game stuff which sucks because expansion will be here.

I'm running a Coelacanth sub, so it has 170 surveillance, 45 retrieval, 85 speed, 80 range, and 100 favor and I've been sending the airship basically off cooldown for nearly half a year. I've been sending one sub to the Rimilala Shelf and the other to the Flickering Dip. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I went 16 trips without seeing any (8 subs over 1 week)

140 survey
130 retrieval
40 speed
55 range
95 favor

Before that i got about 120 ore the week or so before, just bad RNG you have.

None that anyone has found. If there is an effect other than that, it's subtle.

We're discovering that higher favor is required for sectors like Stone Temple and Sunken Vault. The endgame ships such as CUSyC take that into account and function optimally.
