First post here.
Its been 3 weeks since I have been trying to obtain cocobolo lumber with this build, which seems to me that it should have the right stats (CWUC):


I go for these on each trip:
Wreckage of the Windwalker
North Isle of Zozonan
Sea of Ash 3
Sea of Ash 2

On these 3 weeks I have managed to gather just 1 lumber. Am I doing something wrong or just unlucky?

the drop rate for cocobolo lumber is notoriously low. you're better off trading someone else that has more for some gil or other things.

On these 3 weeks I have managed to gather just 1 lumber. Am I doing something wrong or just unlucky?

North Isle of Zozonan and Sea of Ash 3 don't drop Cocobolo. Are you visiting those sectors to get other items?

Sectors in that general sector range of Sea of Ash that will drop Cocobolo (with the min Surveillance needed for it to drop):

South Isle of Zozonan (150)
Wreckage of the Windwalker (155)
Sea of Ash 1 (145)
Sea of Ash 2 (145)

Your Surveilliance is much higher than needed while your Retrieval is low and Favor is a little low. See if you can give up some of that Surveillance to get Favor to 145 (willl double dip in the listed sectors, increasing the chance for the lumber to be retrieved) or Retrieval to 165-180 (increases the amount retrieved if RNG hits the lumber). I don't think you'll be able to hit both without modified parts or much greater rank..

I'm personally sitting on 397 cocobolo lumber that I'll never use, and I'm sure someone on your data center is in the same boat. Someone will probably give you a couple dozen for free, or at least fairly cheap.
