Typical upgraded CUUSy at lv70, so 205 survey, 160 favor etc.

it is rng but generally the higher the surveillance rating you have the more likely it is to be unlocked.

not true imo, i discovered many sectores way faster using 30 surv builds as I did with 190+ ones (across different fcs with different ressources)

So for unlocking new zones Surveillance doesn't matter or does it? Debating if I should focus heavily on it or put everything into Speed.

I am going to say it is random but influenced by Surveillance.

So more Surveillance for better odds or more Speed for more chances? Can you double your trips to the southern trench? If so I would vote for speed.

Edit: Nald'thal's Pipe, Abroader Otter. One retrieve w/ 175 Surveillance.

I'm catching up on submersibles and while for airships it went unexpectedly smooth, I find myself "drowned" in the maritime field!

Could someone kindly give me 3 of the best builds for submersibles?
If yes, please, do it as if I was 5.
