Very poor design choice on the Ryumyaku Astroglobe

I am not sure how this slipped past the team but its design looks well, to put it bluntly like a swastika. And don't start with that "well its actually a religious asian symbol" because its been long renounced as such for its association with nazi's. I think square enix should rethink its design, removing one of the arms making it look like a windmill should suffice and be easy enough.

In the east it hasn't seen nearly as much phasing out as it has in the west. I really think you're digging too deeply into this to look for the symbol that has only passing similarity at best.

(The Nazi Swastika wasn't some shuriken they carried around. It was on hats, sleeves, front coats, or flags, almost always with red, white, and black coloration. This item resembles none of those to any extent.)

Uhh maybe here in the West it's mostly associated with Nazis but certainly not in the East. It's very much a religious symbol over there.

I'll admit though that when I saw the weapon at first I had a giggle when I noticed what it was.

This is why localization is a thing.

Either the crew missed this, or didn't think the swastika/svastika symbolism (which is what it is as the Nazi one is directly stolen from the holy symbol) was worth the effort to change.

Personally, I'll be glamouring over that if it lands in my hands. The nehative association is too strong for me. I'd recommend others do the same unless SE chooses to change the model.
