Yep, I have exploited that lazy human nature to reasonable success too.

The dyes I know exactly where to look to get them cheap...especially since I got my own house(even though the FC I'm in does have the vendor NPCs, I just find it easier to use my own house since it's higher on the list).

..I think this is the first week that I have almost everything already. Just need to get me a pair of Coeurl Eyeglasses and that will be that(aside from a few dye which are easy to get from NPCs).

Edit: Well, I was almost right. Had the eyeglasses, just needed the Camise(9,450 after taxes) and the ring(never did finish those...until tonight). Plus a few dyes.

I had to make the gloves and the eyeglasses. Pretty easy week overall. I have noticed that it seems I am getting to a point where I usually have a few of the items now.

Braces for curve ball next week now that I have declared this...

I tried 4 different pant options and didn't do better than 94, Scion's bottoms, Thavnairian sarouel, Velveteen chausses & Wind Silk Bottoms, all 3 star from the dye

Well, I just found out that if you get DCed after Masked Rose judges your outfit, but before getting your reward, he will ask where you went since you disappeared so quickly, and then proceed to give the rest of your winnings.

Re. reselling cheap items expensively on the marketboard, it boggles my mind how high things are priced - and that people actually pay it. 40-gil dyes go for thousands, and on one of my servers someone is selling the Emperor’s New gear for 10,000 a piece. (Admittedly that gear is harder to get access to than it should be, as it only unlocks through the ‘learn to craft prisms’ quest and not just the initial unlocking of glamours, but still.)

Well, I just found out that if you get DCed after Masked Rose judges your outfit, but before getting your reward, he will ask where you went since you disappeared so quickly, and then proceed to give the rest of your winnings.

The same thing happens if your dungeon queue comes up during the judging stage, so you warp out as soon as you leave the cutscene. I’m so impressed they put in specific dialogue for the situation!
