The SAM katana a while back wasn't dyable either, but was still BiS. Dyable doesn't have to be a requirement.

The only chestpiece that specifically has "rider" in its name is the Ishgardian Outrider chest for NIN, but I kinda doubt they'd make it that obvious.

Necklace I guess is the one you get for completing the Void Ark story?
Fair enough, but there are dyeable versions of all those weapons - we didnt had that for the Katana, that was also only BiS after being upgraded, right? I always considered that upgrade taking the place of the dye.
Anyways - I find it more likely to include a colour if thats possible. So unless its the Dreadwrym-spear I find it more likely that you'll have to dye it and therefor need one of the replicas. (To be fair: The Dreadwrym-spear has a dyeable UCoB-version, so in theory...! After using the glass pumpkin earrings I wouldnt actually just shrug that off as "Okay, now we've seen everything")
That would be actually anything but obvious, given the theme "Dragonrider" seems to be strong hint towards Dragoon - so a job that couldnt wear that chestpiece.
Unless ofc the theme doesnt hint towards Dragoons but rather to... I dont know, us being able to call Midgardsomr as mount.
Wonder if it could be the Woad Sky-whatevers from Sohm Al. Even those don't say Rider, they do say sky. And it does say Riding High for the hint.
Was there a lore tidbit in a storyline (sorry memory is foggy) about “dragon riders “ before Dragons and Man had a falling out? Was there imagery associated with this? I fell like it’s something I remember.
I wonder if "riding high" could refer to the Odin chest piece.
it's possibly referencing Shiva - Ysale could be described as a "dragon rider".
redbill scarf is gold as supposed ^^
