Even dying enough to hit 80 feels like more effort than I care for, especially when the dyes are scattered, and if I want to remove the dyes from the gear afterward (if I'm using whatever I'm wearing since I don't have a suitable stand-in), plus removing the glamours from pieces for the same reason.

I'd say it's a bit of the crowd sourcing over-saturation hitting, too, maybe. It was fun for a week or two as things were worked out, but now that the forumla's pretty well known, within the hour of entries, we know what to try for. And I'm not sure going in blind would really be much more fun.

I personally can't stand the colors and since I'm stuck with these pieces, I'm not dying anything pink or any other I color I refuse to wear. I just use rust red and i still get gold.

So far my scores have been:

84, 95, 100, 80, 88, 81, 81 for a total of 609.

I had unlocked the spring pants and shoes with the 74 I initially got with no dyes which gave me 602. I just dyed them and hit 81.

You do know you can return everything to their neutral colors right? The dye merchant in each town sells "Terebinth", which when used as a dye removes the previous dye. So you only have to have the bad colors for a couple mins if you want.
