This looks to be BiS this week. I'm not sure if there are any alternatives to the weapon...

Weapon: Shiva's Diamond Katana
Body: Scion Adventurer's Jacket
Legs: Kudzu Trousers of Striking (I believe Aiming also works for gold)
Feet: Cashmere Boots
Wrist: True Ice Bracelet of _____

I tested these all undyed and received gold for every slot and 85 points. So, getting the exact dye for head, body, hands, legs, and feet will get this to 100.

Do only the rated slots count? I had the same items in the rated slots but pants and shoes dyed snow white and the top dyed ice blue (sold by the fashion report vendor). I guess dying the pants and shoes ice blue could work, but Mr Rose implied there should be an accent somewhere.

The non-rated slots also count towards dye bonus. I believe, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, for any dyeable slot you get: +2 if the dye is in the right shade, and another +1 if it's the exact color they're looking for for a total of +3 per slot.

This got me 97 points.

I had the helmet and body as just snow white and soot black and got 95; changed body first and then helmet. Each gave me one additional point for a total of 97.

Got me 84 points with a totally random weapon equipped.

I was too impatient to wait for the community to work it out and wasted all of my attempts, getting a hair below the 80 point threshold every time and wasting the week, as well as all the time and gil I used to prepare for today.

Who would have thought that sky pirate gear is bad for "pirates in the sky" or that shiva weapon for a specific job would be a higher rating than all other jobs... why aren't different jobs equal? I changed dyes to the ones I was hearing worked for people but it had no impact on my score.

Won't be planning for these again and getting burned. It's an incredibly specific and harsh rating system with massive points loss for any wrong piece even if it seems to fit the given theme.

Shiva's diamond katana get gold and only 3 stars with shiva's diamond mustketoon... just why? all the shiva's bracelt give the gold why not the weapon ?

Yes aiming pants in ice blue is rated gold, but i think that shiva's diamond bow will score a pathetic 3 stars like my shiva's diamond musketoon...

Alright so I did some testing.



Augmented Hailstorm Astrometer (dyed Rose Pink) was gold, dyed the WHM weapon also and got gold. So maybe Rose Pink dye on all augmented ones works?
Scion's Adventurer's Jacket (dyed soot black) was gold.
Sky Pirate Healing Pant's were a bust this week - but I still dyed them Royal Blue. I don't have SAM or BRD and like hell am I gonna level those classes anytime soon.
Cashmere Boots (dyed Cream Yellow) were gold.
Shiva Accessory was gold.

Hopefully at some point I can get a full 100, but I'm still happy with 85. That bonus MGP is always helpful. xD
