I'm a bit confused wich translation to NA/ EU Region is right. The English client aks for "long skirt" in the leg slot while the German client shows the tip "knöchellang" (ankle long but not necessarily a skirt).

BTW Shiva has the same Theme "High Society" and tips as everyone else posting here.

Head - silken thing
Body - simple is best
Leg - long skirt
Feet - cute as a button
Ring - friend to the end

The first thing that came to mind for me on ring slot was any of the house Fortemps ones dropped in HW dungeons. Because friends forever-> Haurchefant... >:
Also it fits the High Society theme.

The other things that I figured might be possibilities for the ring slot were 1. Any chocobo related ring, since they are "man's best friend" in the game's setting being ubiquitous pack animals and companions, and 2. Any ring you get from irl friend referral programs (not sure if there are even any).

I feel like we're thinking about this much harder than SE though... I'm happy to be proven wrong if it means they really did put that much effort into it.

The only chocobo ring I could think of (and I thought of that possibility too) was from the cactpot grand prize, and I didn't figure they would be so cruel.

As far as restrictions go, right now I'm going to guess they're going to limit this to pulling from ARR-only items. Anything that would necessitate having an expansion would prohibit some players from scoring as well as others. So likely only level 1-50 gear, and even then some of the level 1 glamour items introduced in HW/SB might be unlikely. (sure, players could maybe find those on the MB, but still think it more likely they'd keep it to things anyone could reasonably make/find/buy on their own)

After scrutinizing all the job-agnostic footwear, I noticed the Patrician's Gaiters line of models (so same for Felt Gaiters, Velveteen Gaiters, etc) do have a couple of buttons by the side of the heel area. I can't think of any other shoes with such an obvious button (unless it's a cleverly disguised clasp), so if it's buttons they want that's probably it.

I have some concerns about the whole system just from this first week alone, but I guess we'll find out soon enough just how wonky (or even believable) the scoring standards are in relation to the themes and equipment slot descriptions.

I really hope they put a lot of work into the individual slot identification criteria because if people get points docked for not wearing a "long skirt" when they're standing there in a healer Eikon skirt, Kudzu Longkilt or Asuran Hakama or something (and the only acceptable piece is the Plain Long Skirt) - then I'm calling shenanigans on the whole thing.

Plain long skirt- 3 stars
Moogle slippers- 4 stars
Meteor survivor ring and the wedding ring both scored 1 star. So I don't recommend using them
Kudzu longkilt of healing was also a 1 star.
