Are there any shoes with buttons?

The Cotton Dress Shoes and its other variants have buttons on them... or at least that's what it looks like to me.

I'm pretty stumped by the ring slot myself.

I received Gold for the weapon using the Augmented Hailstorm Cane, dyed Rose Pink.

I thought mog slippers could possibly be the shoes but although they are cute, they have no buttons. I just am not sure what to take literally

The ring is quite clearly an eternity ring, though that seems a bit odd since not everyone in game is married. But I guess trying to match it exactly isn't meant to be taken that seriously. For the head, it sounds like either the wind silk wedge cap or thavnairan headdress.

The most 'simple' body pieces that match the high society theme sound like the hannish wool/thavnairan wool tops, which are still pretty expensive I believe. I feel like even the Taoist's Shirt qualifies, but we don't know if high society to them really means more like victorian style high society. For the skirt, there are only two generic long skirts in the game so that one is simple. The only boots that make me think 'cute as a button' are the valentione pattens.

I'm more curious what pool of items in the game this thing draws from. Are there going to be solutions that require job-specific items for example (which means it can recognize every wearable item in the game), or is it just going to use the level 1 cosmetic-type white items. For now, I'm just going to assume you can solve it optimally with just level 1 white items, it would take ages to review every single item in the game otherwise.

The eternity ring makes sense, but still, with the issue of not easily obtainable, feels unlikely. Thought it could maybe be just a simple i90 Diamond Ring ("diamonds are a girl's best friend"), but that's annoyingly a battlecraft demimateria craft, and also falls back on the "is this idiom ubiquitous enough to work?"

The skirts seem reasonable. Perhaps a good place to start will be finding things that sorta fit the prompts and also look good with one of the skirts.

This is a pretty good suggestion. Not very high level, no restrictions. Will be worth looking up gemstone "meanings" in the future if accessory prompts remain vague riddles.
