Succubus horns from Gold Saucer and Hard Leather Caligae which are just a lvl 12 vendor item are also worth gold. Caligae were mole brown but I'm not sure if it matters; tried it again with gloom purple and got gold again.

I'd also assume the summoner horns and maybe the PvP unicorn horn for bards should count for head, and there are a bunch of other caligae in the game, so looks like it shouldn't be a hard week.

I confirmed the SMN AF1 horn does indeed count for gold this week, although the tradeoff is you cannot equip caligae with SMN (unless you're lucky enough to have a dated pair from 1.0 which are not restricted by class).

Cheapest 80 this week is most likely Hard Leather Caligae and Black Summer Top/Halter.

Caligae are bought from gear vendors in starter cities and the Black Summer Top is part of the Cascadier set (bought from Jonathas in Gridania and exchanged in Mor Dhona).

Total cost 430g, no dyes required.

I guess you lose out a bit by those items not being dyeable, and I may not have had dye on the other things I was wearing at the time.

Allagan Ring of Healing/Casting/ect. from Binding Coil are also gold and should get you the 100.
