I get there with HQ Jammel Musaka, but I need to do some red scrip farming for all the tier V's I need to overmeld .

Based on previous nodes, likely about 7% with 1350, but the node itself will have a modifier saying that HQ is 0% unless you have 1350.

The yellow scrip augmented gear only gives 1196 perception. So I don't see how it is remotely possible for anyone who doesn't have a huge amount of gil to keep up with the crafting and gathering market.

Here is a minimum meld set with the augmented gear. It isn't horrific but does require food.

Scrip gear unfortunately isn't meant to be top-tier gear, but a stepping stone between normal gear and melded gear. 1350 perception is easily reachable with very minimal melds.

Thanks mine was more just to illustrate it doesn't need expensive melds and how easy it was.

Am I doing something wrong then? I only have 1182 perception, and that's with the full head/body/hands/pants/feet.
