yup, that is the minimum. you can use food to boost you if you have the gp you can get gathering/perception food like Jhammel Moussaka

My melds had been pretty good - 1370G, 1313P, 751 GP. My tools only had 6 GP melded to them, so I took the cheap and easy route and melded 4 T3 Perception (5 Perception) apiece, bringing me to 1353P. Having almost 300 of the things made that particular decision easy, though I expect that I may have to remeld, or regear, when the next tier of nodes comes along.

Does anyone know how much Gathering is needed to get an additional item from Bountiful Yield/Harvest? My melds are pretty okay right now, but if getting +3 is viable, I'm willing to push them a little so I can eat meat pies instead of moussakka.

All want perception 1350 to gather HQs.

Hingan Flax and Black Willow log - Tome of Botanical Folklore - Gyr Abania

I am pretty sure these are the two you will need. I have had all 6 books for several months.
