    Fatal DirectX error 0x10000000 on trial after update

    My friend is getting Fatal DirectX error 0x10000000 on the trial after the update.

    We have installed the latest Nvidia drivers. GFX 560ti card.

    Any suggestions?

    It happens every now and then. Its a fairly common pc problem with this game. Usually helps just restart the game.

    When exactly does this occur? Is it when they are logging in or does it crash in-game?

    Has anything changed on their PC that coincides with the crashes (aside form the patch)?
