Small mouse on 4k screen

Hi,

After playing this game since beta, I've encountered a problem I've never had before. I've changed monitors last week (from a JVC 1080p with no problems to a Samsung ue43mu6100 at 4k). S

ince this change, the game always starts in a quarter of my screen, regardless of what I set the costum resolution to (currently 3440x1440). If I maximize the window, it's fine for the graphics but my mouse is so small, it's hard to work with. I've tried the software mouse, but that thing is so laggy it's not viable.

I run windows 10 btw and my graphics card is a GTX 1060 6GB.

How can I fix this?

Is anything else this small in regards to the UI? Have you tried adjusting the UI scaling in the settings display menu?

What do you mean by "maximize the window?" Are you running the game in windowed mode?

So, I have ui scaling set to 200%. This doesn't scale my mouse though.

Even weirder, My chat font is really small as well. Changing this with chat prompt font size changes nothing.

Besides that, Icons, the map, quest lines and all that jazz are fine or scale with ui scaling. My mouse and chat font are unaffected somehow.

Oh, and I run windowed usually, but I’ve tried borderless and full screen to no avail.

You should be able to modify the chat font size at least (I've done this myself). I'm not sure whether you are selecting the wrong chat font option or if it is scaling to your resolution, however.

What size is your monitor? If you were to change the resolution, does this have any affect on the mouse size? Particularly, if you lower it, does the mouse cursor get bigger?

my monitor is 3840x2160. I tried changing windows' desktop resolution to 1920x1080, but besides my screen looking blurry, the mouse would still be like 3mm long.

Hello D-vide, Thank you for your reply.

I have some suggestions for you that should resolve this issue. Go to display settings >set high resolution UI settings to 200% (4k). Then from mouse settings icon >enable software cursor, disable tracking and set size to Max. Please let us know if this resolves your issue.

BOOM! Big icons, chat font is still unchanged. Not the biggest bother though. It's just weird how specifically that doesn't scale.

Secondly, My mouse is indeed big now, but the software mouse has like 25ms delay between input and stuff happening onscreen. There's no less lag with the mini-mini-mouse or in Windows itself, so it's definitely software related. 25ms of lag is unacceptable in hectic situations or raids. I hope there's other solutions.
