Non Complaint Thread [Patch 4.2]

Comment what you love about the patch. Obviously the website is going to be covered in complaints, so I thought a positive place would be a nice change of pace.

I'll go first.

- Glamour Dresser cleared out my inventory congestion
- FINALLY Housing Limits. It's not getting rid of people who already abuse the system, but at least it puts an end to the problem in the future. Its not everything, but I'll take it.
- Doma is better than Ala Mhigo in my opinion, so I really love this patches MSQ.
- Ananta are awesome, and I love everything about them.
- CARBUNCLE BATHTUB?
- WINTER SWEATERS.
- Chocobo Saddles are great for storing things you need, but only in niche situations.

- Glamour Prisms are all combined into one prism. I had all of them, so that contributed to a clean inventory a little bit.
- Items stacking to 999.

I love the mythical looking pvp armor.

Sigmascape is so much better than delta.

The increase of stack size to 999 (including retainers and the FC chest). That is helping me get the stack creep back under control (for example I had 240 aetheryte tickets, and the FC chest had 240 electrum sand). That's proven very useful.

I didn't get to do too much before maint (it was either get enough sleep or be up right for server opening)

THAT SAID, the chocobo saddle is way more inventory then I thought it was going to have. I'm not sure if they showed off how much it would have before since I wasn't paying attention to it but its really nice.

OH, and while it wasn't added this patch I got the Otter minion from my Miner retainer today. That was nice.

I have so much more inventory space now. I love that the primal items can finally be stacked. Also that you can store certain items in the Armoire now, depending on gender my charas have no need for either the maid or the butler outfits lmao. Will continue the purge once servers are back up.

Ananta show promise with the awards, their first rank's awards are already nice tho I foresee I'll have to unlock them on some alts if only for the nails lmao. Wonder what else is in store.

The servers are down. Again.

This is a non complaint. This is an observation.

Much like the observation that fun new features I can't access is like having a new car that I can't drive. Or a meal I can't eat. It is tantalizing, yet beyond reach. As such, the new features are as fascinating as watching grass grow.

Again, that is a non complaint observation.

Chocobo saddle is nice for items I keep around but don't need at a moment's notice.
Elemental materia is garbage now, transmuted it all, cleared up more inventory for me than the glamour dresser.
Disabled the camera setting that locked in when you talked to NPCs. Always hated not being able to look around during some of that.
GATE changes are all pretty nice.
With 999 stacks, I can actually stockpile plenty of dark matter and never have to worry about running out for repairs for a long while. Plus all the other useful bits for that.
Performance UI is a nice change from dealing with clunky shortcuts and tweaking a dozen hotbars.
Looking forward to running new squad dungeons.

Tbh, I do kinda like the improved symmetry of the inventory changes, even if it caused a few minor issues for others.
