It's even worse for me on this patch than it normally is.....

You may be having quite a bit more problems if it doesn't even start for you.

Not neccesarily. Many people have problems with being stuck at 0kb/s
Sometimes the patcher works fine for me and I get speeds of 800+kb/s. Sometimes I'm stuck with it not doing anything.

Updater is just as terrible as it always has been for me. Really is a dealbreaker for me when it takes hours to download patches. Ports are open, firewall gets disabled while I patch, tried everything and the updater still sucks.

I've never had any issues with the downloader. Tonight I had a good speed and was done within 3-5 min if even that.

As always it's a mixed bag. A friend of mine cannot get the update at all, either through the updater or through utorrent.

Can anyone please grab the .patch file that gets downloaded to the Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV\downloads\ffxiv\48eca647\patch folder and upload it to somewhere? I almost instinctively said megaupload but I forgot they got partyv&'d.

Edit: Be sure to grab it before you start patching. The FFXIV updater deletes the patch file after it finishes patching. :/
