Why does the new inventory UI show less items on Expanded than before?

First of all, thank you for the expanded inventory and for the increased stack size!

I would like to echo the perplexity of the posters above about the new inventory layout -- but for me, this is more than just an annoyance. I have a disability that has poor working memory as one of the symptoms. (Basically, I have a hard time holding arbitrary strings of information in my head temporarily.) Before, the Expanded inventory view allowed me to see all of my inventory at once, with minimal checking and re-checking to compensate. The previous inventory expansion wasn't too bad as the second pane was smaller than the first and usually held much less frequently used items. Now I am finding myself having to flip back and forth between tabs MUCH more frequently. As it stands, I may need to use workarounds like taking screenshots of my inventory.

Would it be possible to implement a third option for "mega-expanded" inventory that will put all four "bags" on the same pane again?
