Why does the new inventory UI show less items on Expanded than before?

Please give us back the 4 panel layout. This new one is awful. there's already an obscene amount of clicking in the game, I shouldn't have to do even more for one of the most common actions in the game (inventory management). I want to be able to see what I have at a single glance.

And yes, the amount of key item storage you've given us is ridiculous and unncessary. I think I've carried a MAX of 30 key items at a time and that's when I had a full quest log.

I was all about getting more items on my screen. I mean quicker searching for stuff, less clicks, more win. I thought we were getting four 5x7 panels on one tab. Instead we got robbed of a real expanded display mode.

Reducing the total number of slots on one tab was a terrible move. It looks bad and feels worse. Why do we have 3 panels of Key items btw? None of this makes sense...grabbing my broom in a minute and declaring shenanigans.

so there isn't a toggle to go back to the previous layout...? i never used expanded inventory but the fuller, default inventory is something i don't care for... it just looks too cluttered for ONE box. i have to spend more time looking for an item even with the appropriate sorting options in place... ;_; +1 you all have my support.

I too would like to agree with what the others have said.

The multiple tab options for the inventory just doesn't work right.

Please give us back the 4 "section" expanded view.

I'd be perfectly happy seeing all 4 70-slot inventory grids on the same pane.

First thing everyone saw, and first thing that I am sure that annoyed people ... even me.

Keep the stacks, make inventory pane actually expanded.

Yes, just make it show four sections again. With each 35 now, we get a net gain of visibility on 40. And with our current inventory size, we would actually be able to see all of our inventory at once for the first time. That's a huge plus in my book, and offsets the fact the window would be slightly larger overall.

Retainers would work, too, since by showing four sections, we would still have just one click to access the fifth. And those who were bothered by the empty space in old view would be satisfied, since there would still be no empty space.

Why showing only two sections and making us lose visibility on 30 entire slots was the answer I will never understand.

Glad I'm not the only one annoyed by the new "expanded inventory".
Give us the option to go back to 5x5 if you're not going to show at least 4 panes on screen. This is a major step back.
Hopefully they actually listen to people and give us an option to change it. Thought only blizzard made stupid changes like this that actually make things worse.

This smaller storage size on the UI is highly annoying. Everything clutters up quickly, and its harder to organize. This is irritating. I don't play irritating games.
