If you transfer to a designated server I do believe you can bring all your gil with you and that that there is no limit.

Correct. The limit is only removed if you move to a designated server AND currently live on a congested one.

If you have overflow Gil you can buy allagan currency off MB then trade to npc, or a popular minion and resell on new server. If you have an alt you are also moving maybe put something on the MB and buy then do the opposite once you move.

Okii so best to just buy the allagan pieces from mb and sell to a npc thank you

10 mil on your person, plus I think 5 on each of your retainers. Look into those.
Alternatively you can also find someone to trade your gil to an alt and transfer both characters. All characters on a world can be transferred for one fee.

Yeah, You can transfer 10,000,000 on your Character, plus 5,000,000 per* retainer, so if you have 9 retainers total, you can take 45,000,000 + 10,000,000 (On your Character)

Yes. You'll be prompted how many characters you want to move, provided they are all on the same server. Each character has a 10M limitation and each retainer; 5M.

Okii thanks for the help it's much appreciated first time transferring so didn't really know how it worked tyvm
