“Simply speak...” – Request for more in-depth contents

Here I was under the impression that the community wanted content...

I'm dying for some man. Like the moogle stuff is great, but it only lasted for a few days/week maybe before it was all done. Now I'm grinding for Luminary tools, craft jobs, and trying to max out my seals because I'm just that... done with everything. =/

I'm crossing my fingers for some epic Meteor action later on. But yeah, I want it.

Lurex, when he said "content for the next patch 1.20b" he was talking about what was actually in the patch. When I think content in this context, I think like... stuff to do. I never expect significant gameplay additions in a lettered patch.

But like I said in another thread, they seem to enjoy confusing people. I just wish this was like a seasonal event or something. They don't have much issue with even adding cutscenes for seasonal events.

Content's meaning isn't something MMOs have a monopoly on.

First getting a choco is to easy.

Getting it is not easy. Not for a starting player getting his/her first class to 25. It's also perfectly tied to the story, so that was a good mount introduction ihmo.

Those who saw it as easy were people with all classes to 50 and maxed out seals - which is their own fault. That's the main problem about the "lack of content" - it's there, but people are burning through it faster than SE can add some since they have to work on getting 2.0 done in parallel.

As for the Gobbue mount, it was just a gift for sticking with them until 2.0 and while I agree there should be more than "speak with the NPC" to get something (like getting a chocobo), in this case it's acceptable.

Plus he's SO big I can't see and I"m running into things and having to feel my way around the landscape. What a disaster. Back to chocobos.

How is an adventure not a gift in a game all about adventure?

Because on this forum a big portion of the “Contructive Feedbacks/Requests Topics” is seen as “Merciless Complaint Topics”, and there's nothing that can be done about that or those actually complaining about it. There's always that risk when opening a request thread here.

However, it's beyond my comprehension how Adventurers can refuse an Adventure. Or any new/more in-depth content, for that matter. And considering my positive opinion on the Goobue mount, my request is for future contents, and like I said nothing too elaborated.
Yoshida-san already said that they would have released sidequests on a regular basis: I don't see anything wrong in giving us these presents in a more adventurous manner and 1 sidequest less in the next patch.

Well, I've said everything in the first post, I can't be clearer than that.
As usual, I hope the reps will forward my request to the dev team.

PL to 50, Quests that are guided, free gifts, short holiday events, long wall text quests that have utterly lacking.

When does it end? I appreciate the mount, but there were so many different options that could have been taken to make this all the more satisfying. This is Final Fantasy. Where in the sevens hells of Vylbrand is the damn STORY CONTENT!?!?!?

You mean... the GC quests? And the Dalamud fanatics? And.... you know.... the main story arc? Hamlet defense coming.... jobs.... 2 dungeons... I'm sure it'll all just be handed to us... More periods, you say... ? Ok...
