MSQ first, then the rest of the world.

Getting my inventory managed and going over the new crafting recipes to figure out what the markets are going to do. I never touch new story right away because I don't like finding msq npcs in big crowds.

Beastman quests first. In the US so daily reset is either at 10 or 11am, so I'd rather be on top of that until maxing out instead of missing a day.
Edit: Also finding anything I can use to throw puns at my FC to make them either groan or join the 'Bacent no' club.

Look at new crafting recipes and figure out what to sell to make more gil.
(Also make that new bomb stove if it's implemented this patch. I really want it)

Get up long before reset so I can get a head start on new Ananta beast tribe quests. Main story afterwards followed by new dungeon then new raid.

Run around checking the MB and vendors to see what the new gear looks like on me. Rage at the pieces that looked great on the female characters they were shown on but have awkward changes or just flat can't be worn on my character.
Then maybe MSQ, though I like to record/screenshot that so I may wait until there are fewer people clustering around the NPCs first.

Grab all the glamour gear I've been hoarding since 2.0 and feed it to the glamour log, stack all my one-type-does-everything prisms to free up like 6 slots right there, and stack all my dyes, materia, and crafting mats into my chocobo bag and gaze joyfully at all my freed up room!
As a side note on the glamour log, I really don't see the "can't get it back" as that big of a problem. 1. I can solo farm most of the content this stuff came from already. 2. Most of what I can't farm has a dye-able crafted version out for it I can make. And 3. As I only play one job, PLD, I doubt I'll even be able to fill half of that thing with what I've got laying around. But that's just me.
The thing I always do when a new patch comes out, play around with the new aesthetics and feel pretty for the rest of the week~

Rearrange my WAR crossbars.
Then put on pants.
How come it takes so long to do the maintenance? Is there a load of testing to do or something?![]()
