Worth leveling monk in Stormblood?

Let me just start by saying I *love* Dragoon and Samurai. They are by far my favorite classes. But I'm thinking of adding a third and I've always been partial to monk.

The thing is, I haven't really touched it since the ARR days. I know this new patch will bring some changes to it, but I'm really feeling pretty lost about Riddle of This and that.

It just seems to me that monk has so many more requirements in order to do good DPS, like all the positionals and the chakras and the switching of forms.

DRG and SAM just seem like they have better reasoning behind their actions. I *want* to fall in love with monk and really use it to its fullest, but would like to ask current monks if it's really worth it in Stormblood, and if you can recommend a good guide to help me catch up?

The only riddle you'll ever really care for is Fire. Even with the changes in 4.2, the other two are still... gimmicky for a lack of a better word.

You don't switch forms, you set to riddle of fire and that's it. Positionals also exist with DRG and SAM so you'll just be doing a little bit more with MNK.

For it being worth it. It'll be up to you. But you already play DRG which is the limelight DPS along with NIN, MNK is just fun.
