Huh, interesting. Have you guys checked the members of each FC? 20+ members with JKTANSXK-like names.

If i would have anything to say here, i would just throw the bans left and right on the players like that.

I may ban one or two people who are actually playing with nickname like this, but i would got rid of 9000k bots.

I wonder how do they get so many accounts to play with, is there a 30 days free trial on PC version?

China bots everywhere, just ban the entire country from accessing other servers, problem solved.
There is actually the game where they banned china access to other servers and the amount of bots dropped by 90%, it was silkroad and phantasy star online i guess.

Do it, just do it SE, ban them all and move them to their own server.

This isn't new honestly, back before Balmung was locked I used to see most bot clusters in similar FC's - though for what benefit I'm unsure of unless some of their scripting required it. I don't think they're being created to take advantage of the housing situation so much as just another ring of botters trying to make a quick gil now that the latest patch is out.

It's not for housing in most cases. I'm pretty sure some bot programming relies upon the FC system in some way because most bots I used to see, even going back to when I first joined, had connecting FC's.

I do believe bots create fc's as a means of using a FC chest for storage of assets (gathering items) and for transferring gil to alts so they can horde/store it. I'd be surprised if those buying houses to flip or sell would be using bot like names but I could be wrong.

if we have to "fight" against bots it's already lost, they can TP where they want etc so once again all the houses will be bought in 5min, great

And the idea to close the access to China is a good one, they have their own server afterall so kick them from our servers plz ty!

I wasn't meaning to bring strife over this. I know that bots have plagued this game and other online games for years. Just my concern is the possibility of this situation of potentially taking plots. Especially since there is still a human at the far end of the bot and scripting, they could take into account of this opportunity in a week.

Also if this does happen, would the plot then be rendered unable to be purchaed due to removal or would it open up again immediately? This is also another detail that is mentioned on a player level but not an FC level in housing.

Again, I meant no harm with this and just wanted to bring some attention to this. This all may or may not be something potentially cancerous to an already touchy subject for some players (housing and its limited availability of plots). I just don't want to see legitimate FCs getting locked out of getting their housing plot after all this time because bots have decided to do something out of the norm for XIV.
