Mostly this is in response to the live letter's comments on the Calamity Salvager.

Personally, I'm a player that is aware of it, but I don't use it often. The reason is it is unclear exactly what items can be recovered from the salvager should you throw them away. Further, if you incorrectly think something can be rebought from the salvager but it can't, to get it back you might have to use that one-time only GM call to restore the item. That thing you can't do again even if your last call with the GMs was 4 years prior.

I would consider this to be a UI issues. Possible ways to address it:
1. A calamity salvager log, that lists all items you've obtained that can be rebought from the salvager.
2. Add a tool tip note to items: "This item can be repurchased from the Calamity Salvager".

Addressing these UI issues would also increase awareness that the Calamity Salvager exists.
