Do you still make use of Poetics tomes?

I havent used Poetics in ages. Ive been capped at 2000 poetics for months. It would be nice if they'd add some everyday items like glamors, food, ventures, etc to the list of things purchasable with poetics. Currently they serve no purpose to me.

I buy gear and smash it for desyth levels. After I can't level on them anymore I'll find some other use for them.

I do the soil thing.... hadn't really considered the GC thing but I will now... with the housing update crafting items and mini aetherytes sell quite well

Buy 3.0 Anima stuff, that's about it.

The costumes look great, plus if you're leveling some lowbies (like I am) they're fun to grab and use on classes that share the same stat

I use that for buying mats. The old HW tome items still have use. I have also used them when leveling a char from 50/60 to 70. They add up fast and can make a full gear set easy. Turn them in at your GC when done and get ventures of other crafting mats. I find them very useful.

You can use the Poetics to buy a shire accessory (item level 260), turn in the shire accessory to GC Personnel Officer for 1270 GC seals, then use those 1270 seals to get 6 ventures or a food item to supplement your EXP gain/secondary stats.

I just use them to buy soil, or if I'm feeling lucky, I burn Alexandrite maps to try to spawn Agrippa so I can be one S closer to my tiger mount.
