Multiple Melding Success Rates (Constructive rant?)

For double melds with an advertised 25.5% success rate, I am 27/57 = 30% successful.

my experience is, that it's random and just luck

sometimes I fail 20 of 20 dual melds, each with around 15-20% success and other times I've 3 of 3 success by the same rate


using +1 gear always spends a 5% higher success rate, melding high rank items has a higher success chance then with lower equip and if you use materia with different stats it increases the success rate, too

if you put 2x +16 int into something it has a lower success rate then using 1x +15 and 1x +17 int
