Dear Estinien Wyrmblood,

Please, for the love of the Twelve, clean your armor. My dear and precious Nidhogg Slayer I truly thank you for killing the dragon (and returning the eye to Hraesvelgr) but it is odd that you keep the wyrm’s blood on you instead of forging another set of armor – yes, I am a dragoon as well and know the pain you will go through. Also, you are very rude to the Moogle’s, I understand that the kupo-ing is annoying and all the cuteness overloads your edgelord senses, but dude, really? Have some respect for the fluffy tribe. Now, with those formalities out of the way, I am writing a letter to you, partially at Alphinaud’s request and partially as my own. Alphinaud’s teaching me how to formally write dinner invitations, after I blotched ink over the last bunch he painfully prepared; and I wanted to do this because Aymeric bet 2,000 gil that I wouldn’t have a Valentione for Valentione’s Day. In a gust of pathetic cowardice not befitting any Warrior of Light, I thought this would be less awkward than sending it to Alisaie – you must admit she’s adorable – and then Alphinaud freaks out because I like his sister. And so, here we are. So, man to man, will you be my Valentione?

I understand, if you don’t, you and Lady Iceheart seem to have a close bond or it could just be me in denial and my feelings for you that of a maiden's love-struck heart. But, in all honesty, you and Iceheart have some real chemistry going on, so I think you have a chance to get her if you get over your ego Mr. I Killed A Dragon.

When we first met you early in the dawn of my adventuring days, we didn't really interact with each other. Even then I found myself awestruck by your radiant beauty, and would likely have looked quite the fool dazed as I was by you, were it not for the helm I was wearing. And though you parted ways with your brother to follow your own path, fate would conspire to bring us together again.

Since then we have continuously fought together. I can't help but feel we became closer through the trials as comrades. I had been getting tired from constantly having to fight alone, with the exhaustion of daily work. Then when I think of your next meeting I become hopeful and jovial at the thought.

I am hoping you have not already dismissed this letter for some kind of lovesick fool. The way you fight was something I had not seen before, that red magic is it called? Incredible. I think you're one of the few mages who have impressed me. I also find you prepossessing to an extent I did not expect. So much so that I admit my heart to skipping a beat. Though don't let anyone know that for Halone's sake.

I thought that we may meet at my estate should you choose so.I can either cook us a fine meal or have the servants fix something up if you desire.We can spend the day admiring the sights of Shirogane and getting to know each other better. Dear Aymeric,

I feel lucky to be able to address you so. I can only imagine the amount of ink spent writing out each and every one of your titles. As much as I may enjoy writing them regardless, I know, perhaps better than most, that you may grow weary of them. You wear your titles with bravery and such grace, such unrelenting passion, that I often find myself at a loss for words—a rare occurrence, in my case, as I’m sure you are aware, but such is the ferocity of my affection.

As bizarre the metaphor may sound, you have always helped to carry the weight of my titles, perhaps by simply choosing to regard me as the woman who wears them. Even in the beginning, you treated me as a person first and foremost, and for that alone you are worthy of my undying devotion. You both remind me of and honor my humanity--both my strength and my weakness, and this is a kindness I fear I'll never properly repay.
