Dear Timbermaster Beatin,

This Valentione's season I am reaching out of my comfort zone and sending you this letter. This past moon, I have been grappling with weather or not I would write you, if it was even okay to do so. Ever since the moment our eyes met, I have felt drawn towards you. Because of this strong pull, I had decided to try my hand at carpentry, I enjoy it immensely, and I have been your student for a few summers now. Honestly, this sennight has been really challenging for me, as you have probably seen reflected in my work.. I understand that our differences in race would be unseemly to many in Gridana, and then our difference in age, you of thirty summers, and I of only eighteen, would not be seen kindly by others, and I do not wish for any harm to come to your name. I have come to see that I love your terrible jokes(yes, they are bad!), they make me laugh everytime, the way your eyes shine in your concentration and passion as you work the wood, your compassion towards other is moving. Your laugh, your smile, just being near you makes my heart beat faster. All of this beating around the bush, I am just going to come out and say it. I like you Beatin, I like you a lot, and I do not think that time will pass and I will move on. I hope this letter does not change the nature of our relationship in any negative way, and that I can remain your apprentice. I.. I just needed to be selfish this once and finally get the words out.
