Dear Lyse,

Truthfully, yet unfortunately, we have both been too busy of late to hold casual conversation for longer than a few minutes. What I have to say to you is very important to me, and it's not something that can be said so quickly that I'd be able to bring it up in our next chat.

I've always been fond of you. Even when you hid your face and introduced yourself as your late sister, you radiated affection towards your allies as if they were family. Recently however, these feelings of mine blossomed into a love that I would not be able to properly explain even if I were given all the time in Eorzea.

When we fought in Rhalgr's palm, I felt your determination in every blow. I felt the love for your people with every slash of your blade. Though we were in the hand of the Destroyer, it was you who gripped my heart that day.

The times where you were at your lowest, I wanted nothing more than to help you. After Moenbyrda's passing, I wanted to help you smile again. After Papalymo, I wanted nothing more than to hold you close and convince you that everything would be okay. I could never bring myself to do it, because I was afraid of what things would happen between us. I still am.

Imagine that? The Warrior of Light that many look upon in awe, is terrified of being in love.

Although I have much more to say, it seems everyone else is ready to enter the Sigmascape. I don't believe I've mentioned it's existence to you... you're in for quite a tale.

It's scary to write, yet it also feels right.
