To Zenos Yae Galvus,

While I had heard tales of you before, the tyrant crushing so many nations under your iron fist, we only truly met during your assault on Rhalgr's Reach. Amongst the flames searing the sky and the screams torn from the mouths of soldiers and civilians alike, emotions welled up inside of me. Obvious ones like hatred and disgust, yes, but also one that I found myself denying for the longest time.

Respect.

In you, I found a challenge, one greater than all of the false gods I had felled before. In you, I found a power to be both feared and respected. And, slowly, I found that respect shifting, twisting, into something more—a sort of ugly admiration for your equally-ugly actions; you knew what you wished to do more than anything and you would follow through with it no matter how many grotesque things needed to be done. From there, it didn't take long for that admiration to morph into something unbelievable, something that would have me exiled in a heartbeat.

Love.

Against all the odds, against all the atrocities that you've done, I find myself hopelessly in love with you. I would have given up everything to be your friend and confidant, but the circumstances leading up to that wonderful last encounter of ours kept me from doing so. Instead, we engaged in a battle so fierce and so exciting that I will keep it in my heart forever.

I just hope that, wherever you are in the aether, you are doing the same.

Your Warrior of Light,
Glitchy Aster
