Before I begin, I must thank you for all that you do. You are my rock amidst stormy seas of conflict. My appreciation for your companionship is unending; words cannot express it, so I shan't try.
Now it is this time of year that lovers trade sweet nothings as readily as they do sweets. Fret not! I do not seek to make advances upon you. However, I am currently in Gridania, watching the lovebirds chirp away. It makes me think: can love exist between friends?
First to my mind was you. Even before we began traveling the world, our forays into the Coils of Bahamut showed you to be strong in the face of adversity, steady-handed before the most trying of revelations. My respect for you only grew over our journey, malms beneath the surface.
As we traveled to the Far East and back, I saw you become stronger and more compassionate. When you were struck down atop Castrum Abania, my heart wrenched; never has my composure wavered so... It brought to light how much I care for you as my companion.
And so, during this season of love and romance, I wish to express my love for you. Every adventure we take on brings us closer together, and I glad for that. I would not be here without your strength and readiness to do what must needs be done. While my love might not be the same as that which flows between the couples around me here at the Carline Canopy, it is love all the same.
Thank you again. In all my travels, I have found that you are forever my greatest treasure.
Sincerely yours,
Koka
