For the stoic gardener, your eyes impassive as a dzo’s, your lips the deepest shades of Azeyma’s rose, I write to thee. Your work outside the Mist’s Topmast goes ne’er unnoticed, your attentions spent on your craft are of the selfsame depth as mine eyes’ gaze on you. What I would give to be the flora drinking daily of your watering can, to hear your galoshes squelching on their daily approach to my plot. I confess it: my frequent visits to the Market Board are just a ruse! I’ve no economy to hear of, unless the riches of my love for you be coin. I simply wish to be always near, to hear the endless trickling of the water, tipped out by your generous hand. Alas, I fear you feel naught but for your trade. ‘Tis as if Nophica’s sweet song soundeth so strongly, so susurrantly, that you cannot shake free. Had I the Tenacity, the Determination, or the Mind to pull you gently away from it for even a moment, I would tell you all I am and all I have is yours. But, beautiful gardener, you simply water and water on.

Do you recall how our fantastic friendship began?
It was outside Ul'dah. It was after your fall.
Nashu's bomb brought your brains back, and that started it all.
We met Ellie who presented our first puzzling mystery
to track down the Treaty-Blade: a large part of our history!
And so onward we went bringing foes to their knees
like big Greg with his swords and Typhon with his sneeze.
Then to Ishgarde we travelled. A new journey had begun.
We aided decrepit knights! You adopted a son!
Now Omega has threatened a land to the east,
so I need you to join me south of Rhalgr's Reach.
On this Valentione's Day with our brawn and our brain
I'll cast Flare on some ghosts while you SUPLEX a TRAIN!!

It’s been a long time, hasn’t it? Over two years have passed since you first came into my life, and with you came joy, laughter, and a fuller appreciation for the beauty within this world. What you do for me is something of the deepest intimacy, something I would never ask of any random person. Between your luxurious looks, your charming sense of humor, and your ability to leave me refreshed and satisfied every time we meet and do our business together. I daresay I could not imagine life without you. Blaming us for treachery which should have been unthinkable- after everything we had done.

Dear Guiding Star,

I’ve seen you frequently at Talan’s stall. You stand there with your luscious red hair, and dark grey skin. When traveling through the Mor Dhona markets I oft find myself lost in your rippling muscles thinking, “It’s like all of my namedays have come at once.”. I’ve stopped by the stall a number of times only to be rejected by Talan because I either don’t have the right coin or he doesn’t think I am the right person. However, that has never stopped you from telling me in great detail all of the services you provide. You are a thoughtful and caring man always willing to explain to me how to become a master crafter in great detail even when I ask you over and over. I would love for you to be my Valentoine this year and ever year after. For together I believe we can take our rolling stone destiny and wear it smooth and even as in crafting, gathering, fighting, and love.

Ours is a solitary existence. Souls born in two worlds yet never quite belonging to either. Shun by one, not trusted by the other. It was through you that I was finally able to be confident in myself and not be ashamed of who I was.

Our time together was brief but never have I felt as alive as I did then. We helped bring a better life to the Brume one bullet at a time. Having you at my back, comforted by your catchphrase 'One shot, one kill!’ as we battled corrupt nobles and their abominations. Nothing beats the adventures we had together.

So thank you, Hilda, for being a true friend. Thoughts of you and your strength have kept me going through the bleakest moments here on the Ala Mhigan front. I long for the day we can continue hunting injustice like the hounds of hell.
