What the hell happened with getting rid of PS3 limitations?!

Seriously every patch feels like Yoshi-P and his team are still working with PS3 limitations STILL, as seen with not only housing, balance adjustments catered to 24 player raids, but also tank balance(along with Stormblood Early Access and Launch feeling like commercial and financial failure but somehow they think it succeeded) when people who are regulars are complaining about things they don't like because of the new changes(not all changes were bad but they might as well be shooting themselves in the knee with arrows)...


Right now, people are just asking this, GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER AND FIX IT YOSHI-P AND TEAM!!!

Yoshi-P has been upgrading the game in certain areas he couldn't because the PS3 limitations. Things like the additional job gauges or additional inventory space are thanks the game doesn't need to have compatibility with PS3 anymore.

The stuff you mention hasn't nothing to do with PS3 limitations, but with decisions from the development team.

I don't think tank balance is going to be related to PS3 limitations but it's definitely a separate discussion they need to focus on.

Regarding limitations, it's much better to make small adjustments and see what works rather than updating everything while tanking framerates or latency. We have seen pushes and changes but a lot of this is going to inherently be an issue due to the underlying shoestring they've built the game on.

But seriously, fix dark knights.

Windows 10 has a 32 bit version, in fact. It's just not available on home PCs unless you're doing an upgrade install of a 32 bit Windows 7/8. Volume licensed enterprise customers have access to it, as well.

Mostly, people play on old PCs that are using Windows 7 32 bit. The game still supports it officially, so it's the new lowest common denominator. Not PS4.

The real limitation now is server side and in how the client and server communicate.

Not true. If you had a 32 bit Windows 7 and upgraded to Windows 10, it upgraded to the 32 bit Windows 10. Yoshi even said during fan fest that he wishes people would upgrade to 64 bit as many are still playing on old 32 bit rigs. That's why the minimum reqs for SB were 4GB.
