What, wikipedia goes down for one day and people start making their own versions of the universe up? Stars are stars (flaming gas balls of fire and energy) planets are planets (spheres composed of gas, solids etc that generally are not *on fire*). Earth is not a star in any context, it's a planet that might reflect light to look like it's shining, the same as the moon does.

Dalamud is a *moon* (a small planet that orbits another object) and yes, the assumption is that it's going to crash into Eorzea, the quests aren't exactly subtle.

I wasn't making anything up what's so ever. If you look at Earth from afar, would you see a little blueish like dot in the sky? Would it look like a star, I'm asking if you saw Earth From afar to the points is barely Noticeable, what would it look like to you?

and Sometimes, Wiki doesn't give you straight up answers ( because in wiki, anyone can put in anything from what Im being told). I'm not saying I know much about Space. was just asking a Simple question. What would Earth look like if you could barely see it with a naked eye?

Now since I know this Dalamud is a Moon clears up some things though lol

"Stars" can be Planets Like Earth is a star to other planets that you can't Visually see with the naked eye. thats why I'm saying, is it possible that this star could be a Planet crashing into Eorzea?

Oh, no, I meant it is a literal Death Star. It's a super weapon that was created by the Allagan Empire. It isn't naturally occurring.

I can't wait for that CS to happen.. Garland Activates Machine.. CS goes to space.... Shows Celestial bodies Heading towards Eorzea.. now that would make an epic CS .

They don't fear the Allag. The allagan civilization is extincted since thousand of years. The Garleans found some relicts of the lost civilization and want to use them now as weapon against the beastmens (and Eorzea).

It really is. I was worried there for a bit that FFXIV might not live up to it's predecessor story-wise, but ever since Yoshida jumped on board it seems like things are moving in the right direction. I don't know if anything will be able to topple CoP for me, but if they can even come remotely close to that I'd be one happy man.

CoP was shaping up so amazing, it is a shame I never got to finish it =( XIV's direction might be taking its time due to the revamp, but it is quite good. I hope they sort out the order of the story related content in 2.0.

Those of us level 50 already can consume as it comes, but what about new players that might trigger events before they make sense?
