Bruh, even without getting the job to 70 or doing anything close to high end content, it's not hard to see Dark Knight has some flaws compared to the other tanks. This was pointed out earlier in the thread too. Or maybe in another. I can't keep track of these.

Going through content and I don't remember the last time I got a defensive ability or even something that can at least be called a cooldown (Blind from a Dark Arts buffed Dark Passenger counts as a cooldown, right?) Guess I got The Blackest Night to look forward to, but there are situations where it needs to be paired with something else and I hear stacking cooldowns is usually bad practice, so how is that a sign that everything's fine?

You keep going on about how Dark Knight is the anti-magic tank which is cool except that's not an exclusive niche considering Paladin does that too, so where does that leave Dark Knight again?

Stacking cooldowns is not as desirable when both cooldowns do the same thing such as lower damage taken, but in the case of TBN, it essentially increases your HP. In this way, TBN can combine with any CD and not suffer from diminishing returns, so there you go.

I'm not harping on DRK as the magical tank, but rather that so many tank busters are magical, and thus, DRK is perfectly capable of handling them just fine.

Maybe you like Bill Gate's glasses and how he looks and acts and his personality. He doesn't need to be Carlos Slim just because he has, relatively speaking, a little more.

Sure, but when it comes to how competitive you are on the market, it doesn't really matter how cool you look or kind you are. DRK's "weaknesses" are only a problem in endgame, but it's the only content that really matters for balance, since no one really cares about how you perform in dungeons or trials.

The thing that baffles us is that it wouldn't take much to make DRK as efficient DPS wise and mitigation wise, without touching its gameplay. People have made lots of calculations and suggestions on that.
