Stacking cooldowns is not as desirable when both cooldowns do the same thing such as lower damage taken, but in the case of TBN, it essentially increases your HP. In this way, TBN can combine with any CD and not suffer from diminishing returns, so there you go.

I'm not harping on DRK as the magical tank, but rather that so many tank busters are magical, and thus, DRK is perfectly capable of handling them just fine.

At that particular time, if everyone can be Carlos Slim, what's the point of being Bill Gates ?

Maybe you like Bill Gate's glasses and how he looks and acts and his personality. He doesn't need to be Carlos Slim just because he has, relatively speaking, a little more.
