Thread: Patch 4.2 Extra Retainer should be free

I have one paid at the moment and I'm sending all of them out on ventures and using them to hold glamours, crafting mats, fishing bait etc.
Since the Dresser basically destroys items (gear cannot be retrieved) and gear in there cannot be used to glam your squad, I'm going to be very careful what I put in there.
I know we have got some extra storage this patch, but for me an extra free retainer would be more valuable than the choco-bag.

I just feel that since we are paying a sub, it's a bit cheeky that we only have the 2 free retainers we had in ARR and are expected to pay extra if we'd like more.

Instead of storage space... they should let us take a Retainer out in battle with us... one we can glam and have a personal touch to.

It's pretty ridiculous that a subscription MMO forces you to add another subscription for using what amounts to an in-game bank.

I'm amazed we are even getting the saddlebag for free at this point.

Meh... let SE make money off additional retainers... what we need is a chest for just crafting items (culinarians know what I'm talking about)... one storage for crafting materials...

Tho I agree locking gear into glamour status may become problematic.... bet they change this later

HaHaHa, sorry seriously though. At this point you should expect all announcements to be cash which includes pets and glamour unless they say otherwise at the start. Also for it to be the most financially beneficial for SE and least beneficial for the player. I am surprised they didn't announce that it would be per character and not per account going forward.

They have clearly drawn their lines for the model for this game. And while the rest of the gaming world pushes back on micro-transaction system, enough 14 players like it, or support it, or own stock. These won't change now until they have a bad expansion numbers. With the supporters it will probable be awhile.
