Please Reconsider MSQ Changes

This is cool and all, but the problem isn't the MSQ itself, even if people wont admit it. Its the rewards in that MSQ that people want. I would bet my left nut that if there was two MSQs, one with the inflated rewards and the other with the base EXP it original gave, that the one with the less EXP would never get used and people would be right back here complaining how its not fair and how that the other MSQ with cut scenes is almost forced with how much EXP it gives.

I'm seeing the opposite to be true. Before the change I always saw people in my FC and LS making groups for MSQ roulette. Now, I'm more likely to see people saying they don't run it because of the unskippable CS. I might see someone making a group for MSQ roulette once a week, whereas before I would see several a day.

I know in this thread there's been numerous posts from people saying they're cool with the lesser rewards if it means being able to skip the CS. They usually get ignored in favor of belittling people asking for the CS to be skippable again.

Absolutely correct, you sure do have the right to complain no matter what, just as everyone else has the right to ignore or discount said complaints if they are baseless

I tend to ignore and discount people who think Person A's opinion is worth less just because they choose to do something due to its efficiency even though Person A sees and voices the flaws of the activity.

Isn't the whole point of this MSQ roulette is for new players to get help with the MSQ's? So if that's the case, then I would think at least one player each run will be a sprout and not have seen the CS. It just seems to me that this whole thread is moot.

That may be the intended usage of the MSQ roulette, but it is most definitely not this way in practice.
You will often just get full parties of vets who are just trying to get that phat XP and tomestones, to which I say, more power to 'em, but they need to know what they're getting themselves in for.

Okay, see I thought for the roulette to work someone needed to be initiating the actual MSQ. I've only done that roulette a couple of times since completing those MSQ myself, and each time I've seen the notification that says something about new player+first time+bonus exp. I didn't realize it could potentially be 8 vets playing through it.

I complain about work and paying bills, but I still have to do them. Just because you do something doesn't mean you're not allowed to complain about it. Especially when it's so painfully obvious that there are better ways it should have been done.

It doesn't matter if it's a job or not. You don't lose the privilege to complain about something just because you participate in it. In fact, the people who do participate are almost always the most qualified to complain, since they're most likely to know what the problems are.

Playing a game and Working are not even addressing the same needs. You play a game for entertainment and you work for survival: Survival is not a choice (but the way you do it is).

Your analogy is so bad, I don't understand how you fail to see how the two don't compare. You are forced to pay your bills because you have consumed the product or the service tied to that bill and you work because you need money for those bills. Explain to me how playing a game and doing the MSQ Roulette even compare to that?

How about: If everyone in the party has seen the cutscenes, don't play them.
If possible, place first runners in the same group and show the scenes.
If not, and any player in a group hasn't seen them yet, then everyone has to sit through them again. (With no option to drop group.)

And what exactly is the point that you're trying to make? That you fail to comprehend that as long as you keep doing the OPTIONAL CONTENT that all thats going to be seen is numbers and they're going to keep the system that you keep complaining about around longer?

Add in if everyones seen the cut scenes and skip them they dont get the high end reward
