Please Reconsider MSQ Changes

I do MSQ whenever I am leveling up another job, since it gives almost a full level of XP for a 30 minute run and doesn't take a lot of brain power to do any of the scenarios.

The queue usually pops within 5 minutes.

I don't see the issue here. The XP reward is high enough people will run the DF.

The issue is the cutscenes. Most of your time is spent watching cinematics instead of fighting. And what makes it worse is the fact that its the same cinematics every time. Who really wants to watch the exact same tv episode day after day after day?

WoWs Black Rock Depths was soooo much better. A few hours of action vs MSQs 30 to 45 minute sit and watch a rerun chopped up with brief 30 to 60 second fights.

I wish they'd stop interrupting the cutscenes with live action stuff. :P

It never felt like a problem that needed to be addressed. All it does is prevent me from playing the game which is simply unenjoyable.

At first I disliked it, but the way I see it the MSQ is great for when you need to level a class, getting tomes from there is pointless, you can get them faster from PvP or other dungeons. Personaly, I wont be doing the MSQ, but when the new classes are released, I will do them, because while the cutscenes are long, the reward are great for a non max level class.

I'm in favor of high reward + sitting through it. As far as I see it those who queue should be helping the new players have the best story expericene or not queuing for it, and with the trust system incoming I believe that even more.

Although if there are no new people or the new person chooses to skip it then... i dont think it needs be watched lol. Issue being people would ask the new person to skip it then or leave queue until they get no new people...

So yeah I think it should stay and the trust system slowly removing this high reward opportunity from us being the final nail in the coffin to players who want to speed run other people's story expericene. Noting if they ever removed the forced cutscene the rewards should be severely nerfed, and since solo would work the roulette would probably die. Trust system is currently to our info only for shadowbringers but I imagine it being added to some other content.

Tl;dr MSQ is for MSQ, and so should it remain as it is or be taken into solo only space and we all lose a way to level and meet new players to the game.

While the unskippable cutscenes isn't exactly for everyone, the current Main Scenario Roulette an option to take if you want some extra tomes, experience, and nostalgic memories on the side with "less stress" (as a certain poster would put it.)

*Thinks about all of the other bad farm parties, Expert Roulette runs that take over 30 minutes, and other facepalm worthy DF runs I've run into lately. Can't always choose your teammates you know.

MSQ daily should have been removed and turned into a dungeon where the player can take his/her grand company npc group with them.

I agree... perhaps with the new TRUST system they will make it possible (hopefully).

If it's not liked don't do it? I don't see how people are still complaining after it's been implemented ages ago.

TRUST is only for Shadowbringers dungeon, might not even be for all of them. But maybe they will update squadron to include MSR dungeons.
