Please Reconsider MSQ Changes

Frankly, I love these new changes. It serves people right for just speeding through the dungeons and ruining the experience for the new players. Just the other day, my free company and I queued up with a total of seven people, and our eighth was a new player. We granted him the full experience instead of just speeding through, and he was having the time of his life.

Maybe people should learn to be more selfless instead of griping about changes that their own actions basically forced.

And because of you and your kin's wish, now new players are having difficult time to progress since veterans rarely que for this poop... Eat that selfless motto of yours. I bet you are not that "selfless" either to que everyday for these unskipable dungeons and help new players progress

Mmmm, no. I queue for this just about every day on Aether prime time as a healer and it doesn't take long at all to fill up. Takes less time than Alliance Raid Roulette does. I see plenty of newbies in it as well.

Its really not that bad with its current bonus,
I ran it yesterday and even had someone new in it.
It was nice getting 400 tomes.

Newbie here. Well, mostly. Been subbed for a month and a half now.
Seeing the cutscenes for the first time all I wanted was to press the skip button.
It also doesn't help that they happen every 5 bloody yalms I walk either...
They are excruciatingly long and a pain to sit through, only made worse if I am trying to get my hands on that much needed Genesis.
Going without running Castrum and its agonizingly boring thrice as long deformed sibling means I am effectively forced to either play PvP or never miss a single one of the other dailies every day for every week to top up fully. Never have I met a single newbie who thought otherwise, perhaps due to being on Chaos, but regardless...

I support giving people the choice to skip the cutscenes if they so want to.
This stuff gets painfully dull... and it's dull for nine people out of ten from what I have seen.
To make matters worse, people join and just tab away these days too. They sit AFK and only tab back when they hear the "TP to boss room" jingle.
This makes running these even slower and even more excruciating.

Might I suggest a compromise if skipping is no longer an option?

If at least two party members vote against skipping then the scenes aren't skipped? (mostly to prevent solo queued trolls from voting no just to watch everyone else suffer)

You can get Genesis tomestones outside of roulettes too. The most recent dungeon(s) always give 50 tomes, or 90 when you add the expert roulette bonus.

Other ways to get Genesis tomes include (oh god) Eureka, SB level A rank hunt marks if you're into that, sometimes you can get it from WT... and yeah, like Reinha said, level 70 dungeons and trials give straight genesis tomes. So no need to put yourself through it.

Once again voicing my hope these will become solo instances. They long since have the technology, and it will work better with the interwoven cutscenes, too.

Can also get genesis from doing SB Ananta beast tribe quests if you're doing them on a level 70 job. You get 5 genesis per quest so can get up to 15 per day doing all Ananta quests that day. That is 105 genesis per week by doing them.

Also the Koji beast tribe quests reward mendacity tomes for doing them on a level 70 job if they interest you.
