Please Reconsider MSQ Changes

I didn't believe they would make this kind of change but a significant amount of people were asking for exactly this, and crucially it's the easiest fix they could make. Yoshida has always had the belief that it's impossible to make heavy adjustments to old content because this hurts their ability to produce enough new content in a timely manner. I thought CM/Prae might be an exception, but no apparently they don't have the dev time to make these into solo instances with NPC allies who use squadron AI behavior or anything like that. If the solution isn't perfect, that's why, it would have delayed the patch or reduced the amount of new content in the patch.

On top of the fact that Main Story isn't going to be worth the time and effort we are getting a new roulette to replace the experience lost from it.

Personally, no reward would be great enough to sit through that. I apologize to all the sprouts who will now wait hours for these dungeons to probably be left high and dry when their mentors leave (and I won’t blame them.) This is on SE.

I know it is a MMO, but people who skip all the story just to play raid/pvp... I just think they are throwing entirely game in the trash can just for one or two content.
People can play they way the want, but there are some newbie/vets in the dungeon want to play reading the story. (Yes, I like rewatch cs)
You are right, this is not a single-player game and there are people who will queue for these people too and also keep queing for msq as well.

My suggestion is to just remove it from duty roulette entirely and change it into a personal instance, allowing the player better interaction with the duty. Or, you know, just revert it back.

I love MSQ roulette and would miss it.

But this is the only true solution so I'll take that sacrifice if it means new players are happy.

An alternate version of this solution would be to somehow support both versions (so people who want to do it with their friends still have the option to) and adjust the quest text to only mention the solo version even though both would work.

Still wouldn't get me to go, and as far as I'm concerned that would even be a nerf. Weekly tomes are extremely easy to cap with the ridiculously low limit they have. I can actually use the poetics more, even if by this point it's purely for glamours.
