    Given that Fire IV represents 40 (O3, O4) to 50% (O1, O2, dummy) of BLM damage, and a 280 potency is an 8% increase from 260, BLM overall DPS is buffed by 3 to 4 %.
    That is indeed not enough if current meta synergy isn't changed.

    Regarding SMN, we're looking at an overall 2% ST nerf (8% nerf on Ruin 3 that is 15 to 20% of damage source, and 6% nerf on WW ~6% damage source - Painflare is negligible on ST).

    So the BLM vs SMN finally starts to be better looking for BLM, but still :
    - only starts to, not enough
    - no raid wide utility (people want to get buffed, so a class that cannot buff won't be picked even with great DPS)

    As for the caster vs the rest, it clearly is not impacted...
