    Well, that's precisely what people will do.

    That is precisely the issue the entire ruckus on that topic is all about. If you haven't noticed from Diadem at the latest, there's a distinct connection between the amount of people running a piece of content and the time it takes to get into that content.

    "Speedrunners" don't give a rats butt, this isn't a punishment for them. They'll just queue for something else for their rewards. There's no reason for them to be concerned about themselves - The only one to be concerned about are newbies who'll have to deal with the consequences of "Don't like it, don't run it.", i.e. queue times, mentors leaving at the start etc.

    You'd think SE would get it by now that they need to make them into solo-able instances with NPCs. Forcing the cutscenes isn't going to help the new people, it's going to punish them because they're not going to get anybody to queue up for it simply because people's time is being wasted for a useless reward. IMO, for doing the MSQ roulette with no skipable cutscenes, the reward should be around 100 Mendacity since poetics are pretty useless at endgame.
